The Registrar of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University in his letter cited, has informed that Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University is the State University of the Government of Tamil nadu and nearly 732 affiliated Colleges of Education are offering 2 years BEd programme throughout the State. As per the NCTE regulations, each student of B.Ed. programme has to undergo 16 weeks School Internship in High School and Higher Secondary Schools and requested to grant permission to the affiliated Colleges of Education for School Internship in districts.
